Forge of the Forgotten Mobs

Chapter 1: Out of the Protection
“Sparky Sparky, it is time to wake up! Remember? Today is the day when we planned to sneak out?”
I was only half asleep when my friend Cinder woke me up. “Cinder, I do remember, but I thought we promised 3’o clock! Cinder, the time right now is 1:36!”
“But, I thought going earlier is better. Well, anyways, come on.”
“Cinder! Arg, fine.” I followed Cinder out of my house. I have always imagined what was outside the safety of this city. Hopefully, me and Cinder can survive a day out there.
“Cinder, I still think this is a bad idea. You do realize how dangerous it is out there right?”
“Of course not! The guardians tell us that to scare us, and I am not afraid of bandits or zombies and such. Also, legend says that there are mobs that can potentially become stronger!”
I sighed, but decided to follow Cinder anyways. I can’t let him die without me. “Cinder, you do realize that we might not be able to get any mobs right? The guardians say it is not possible!”
“Of course it is” is Cinder’s terse response. “Even though the guardians are wise, they are also mean. They are probably lying!”
I sighed and came to the gate. In this civilization, we were all born with a special power. Cinder can, based on his name, turn into fire. In legends, whatever powers you have is whatever mob you shall get, even though that is unlikely. Woosh, with a great explosion, I jumped up into the air, and came crashing down. The pain was so hard that I almost cried, but at least I was out of the city.
“Sparky, you ok?”
"What do you thin-”
“Sparky get u-”
“There you guys are! Do not try to run away anymore” A shadow loomed over me and Cinder. Before I have time to recover, the guardian of the city, The Wall. His real name is actually Pip, but he refers to himself as The Wall.
“Sir,” Cinder tried to explain. “We are just testing out our powers!”
The Wall is not very smart, so he just nodded. “Okay. Next time, time to make that much of a racket or else you will get a beating. Understood?”
“Yes sir!” Cinder and I said together. “Sir, shouldn’t we go farther away from the city so we will cause less damage and we could be more boisterous!” Even though The Wall was dumb, he wasn’t that dumb. Obviously he would say no, right?
“Of course. Go as far away as possible, and be as boisterous as possible.”
“Thank you sir!” As soon as the guard left, Cinder laughed. “Ha! Didn’t know the Wall is dumb as a wall! Sparky, are you sure you are fine?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Ummm, Sparky? Don’t look behind you.” It was too late, because I saw a gigantic shadow loom over me again, and I knew that I was in trouble. It was a gigantic zombie that wasn’t like the normal zombies. The gigantic zombie had muscular arms and looked much bigger than regular zombies. However, the gigantic zombie seemed to be dead, and its corpse was falling towards me and Cinder.
“Cinder, looks like you were right. Mobs can evo-”
“Sparky, stop talking and run!” I realized a little too late that the corpse was falling towards me. Realizing that I do not have any time to run, I just ducked and prepared for the worst. Suddenly, I heard an explosion. 20 creepers piled in front of me, and the explosion blocked the corpse: only one creeper survived, and it was bowing at me.
“Umm, Cinder, are you seeing this?”
“Yes, I a-” The creeper suddenly mutated into a big creeper with four legs. Cinder stared at the creeper intently, until he let out a yell. “Let's go! You got your mob didn’t you! Now help me find mine.” Before I could respond, another shadow loomed over me.
“Cinder, tell me what's behind me!”
“Just a human, okay. No need to be scared.” When I turned around, I saw a human that looked handsome and quite muscular. He was holding a giant hammer that has green liquid all over it. “Hello children. I am the infamous N. Perhaps you have heard from me?” I shook my head and Cinder rolled his eyes.
“No, but I think you are a bandit!” Cinder excitedly proclaims everything he knows about bandits. “Bandits are tough, strong humans that refuse to tame mobs! Instead of taming them, they usually attack the mobs. Whoever kills the most mutant mob wins!”
